• Discernment counseling is brief and designed to move you from “stuckness” or ambivalence into making a decision about next steps in your relationship. The process begins with two individual sessions followed by 1-3 longer joint sessions. The goal is to reach a decision about what happens next: stay the course, enter a separation or divorce process, or agree to attempt reconciliation.

    Cost: $900-1800

To get started, book two individual sessions (45 minutes each, link below). Once confirmed, you’ll both receive an intake to complete.

  • For families in a collaborative divorce, I am the “family specialist.” The collaborative model is a streamlined, out-of-court process built around two attorneys working as a team for the good of the family in transition. When helpful, this team approach may include a family specialist, child specialist, and financial neutral. In my role, I will assess the family system, mediate and draft the parenting plan and, in some cases, guide the overall process. I often also provide individual coaching to the parents to ready them for the table negotiations and successful co-parenting. Having a family specialist by your side places the children and the family as a whole at the center.

  • I provide mediation services for families who want to work together to come to resolution on the financial and family aspects of their divorce or post-divorce modifications. For those who reach a complete settlement, I can prepare the court papers and file the “stipulated” judgment and supporting documents with the court to finalize your divorce.
